The sculpture stands 32 ft. tall on a planted terrace of the Women’s and Children’s Health Wing of the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California. Two floors up from the street, it peers over the edge at the people who flow in and out of the building, many of them expectant mothers or post-delivery families.
